They contain protein and iron that make you strong, niacin and vitamin d that help you to feel happy, and many other vitamins and minerals that contribute towards your overall health. They help to promote a healthy heart and a strong immune system. They regulate blood sugar levels, are anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and help to regulate cholesterol levels.
Our mushrooms are grown in Guatemala in the misty cold hills of San Lucas Saquetepéquez. We grow our oysters naturally on corn husks without pesticides or chemical sprays.
Our favourite way to cook them is to shred them apart, fry them with garlic and butter until they are golden brown and slightly crispy and then eat them in a sandwich, toss them into a salad or add them to an omelette. They are truly versatile and have a rich, strong meaty flavour.
