What we call wild raspberries in Guatemala are elsewhere called thimbleberries. They have a sweet, tart fruity flavour followed by a musky, honeyed aftertaste with an incredible melt-in-the-mouth texture.

Thimbleberries originally come from North America but are quite at home here in Guatemala growing in our greenhouses in the misty hills of San Lucas Sacatepequez.
They are delicious eaten fresh as they are or with a blob of cream, sprinkled in your favourite cereal, added to mosh, mixed with yoghurt or made into jams and desserts.
